SEOUL, Jan. 30 (Yonhap) — KG Mobility Corp., a South Korean automaker, said Friday its cumulative vehicle sales in Turkey have surpassed 50,000 units, highlighting the country’s role as the company’s largest export market.
KG Mobility said cumulative sales in Turkey reached 50,434 units as of the end of 2025, supported by strong demand for sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and eco-friendly models.
The company attributed the milestone to strengthened cooperation with local distributors, expanded market development efforts and new model launches.
Globally, the automaker exported 70,286 vehicles in 2025, up 12.7 percent from 62,378 units a year earlier, marking its highest annual export volume in 11 years since 2014. Turkey accounted for 19 percent of total exports in the year.
Shipments to Hungary and Germany followed, at 9,508 units and 6,213 units, respectively.
To sustain its export momentum, the company said it plans to expand its lineup with the launch of the new Musso pickup truck and introduce other market-tailored models equipped with enhanced features.
